SAFETY

Fully certified to JAA/FAA standards, EADS Socata's TB GT range of aircraft has passed the toughest safety tests, including spin recovery in tail-heavy configuration. Reflecting our full trust in the quality of our products, all TB GT aircraft come with a full two-year “spinner to tail” warranty. Built around a sturdy single-piece machine-milled wing spar, the TB structure offers robustness proven during millions of hours of service. The semi-monocoque airframe is protected by a triple anticorrosion coating.
The EADS Socata TB GT is also designed for easy maintainability - a key to higher safety and dispatch reliability - thanks to a large number of convenient access panels. Most routine engine servicing is done by simply removing the upper part of the cowl. And a unique tilt-down instrument panel lets you reach all avionics equipment in just a few minutes.

COMFORT

Featuring two large gull-wing doors, the ergonomically designed EADS Socata TB cabin has often been imitated in the last twenty years. No one has yet ever equaled the original. Today, the TB GT series takes comfort to a new level, with a cabin 3.9 feet high and 4.2 feet wide. This allows room for passengers to stretch their legs. For even greater comfort, the middle seat in the back can be replaced by an armrest with glass-holders.
Even the smallest detail in the TB GT cabin was designed to make air travel a pleasure. For example, the cabin offers tinted windows, headrest, moveable air vents, similar to a commercial jetliner, intercom, and ceiling lights. You can even plug in your CD player and allow your passengers to fly to their favorite music!

MODERN DESIGN

More than twenty years after their initial rollout, the TB series of aircraft still causes heads to turn with their sleek lines, modern features and easy, almost automotive-like access.
In 2000, we launched the upgraded TB GT series, offering an even more streamlined fuselage design, a more spacious cabin and larger window. The fuselage canopy is now made of carbon fiber/honeycomb sandwich, a strong yet lightweight material which allowed us to refine the complex design and incorporate flush-mounted windows. The fin strake, wingtips and engine cowls are all made of fiberglass.
